Woodbridge High School

Accessibility

Visitors to the school premises should note that the main building has three floors and no lift, which means that those people with mobility difficulties may not be able to reach the middle and upper floors.

The Wynndale building has some areas with upper floors and no lifts which may also provide accessibility problems for people with limited mobility.

If you are visiting the school and you are concerned at gaining access to these areas, please could you telephone in advance and ask for either Mr Clifton (Deputy Headteacher), Mr Khan (Deputy Headteacher) or Mr Gordon (Business Manager). These members of staff will explain the layout of the main school building and advise of the assistance we may be able to provide to support those with mobility difficulties.

The school has made considerable progress in recent years in improving access to our facilities, such as the main reception, toilets, meeting room, main hall, canteen, sports hall and business centre. The new Roding building is fully accessible, including for visitors to the Roding Performance Theatre.
