At Woodbridge High School, we operate as an “Allergy Aware/Nut Aware” community to protect students with food, environmental, and contact allergies. While we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free site, we enforce strict controls in our canteen. In order to maintain a safe environment, food sharing is strictly prohibited, and high-risk nut products should be avoided in packed lunches.

Every student with a diagnosed allergy must have an Individual Healthcare Plan (IHP). Parents must inform the school if their child develops an allergy. Students who are prescribed Adrenaline Auto-Injectors (AAIs) must carry two pens on them at all times. There are spare emergency AAIs kept in our school offices.

All staff receive annual training in allergy recognition and emergency response.
