LBR7 £37,068- £38,058 full time equivalent salary

3 to 4 Days Per Week/Term Time Only (days negotiable) (£18,904 - £25,879 pro rata)

Required for 1st September 2025 to 31st March 2026

We are currently seeking to appoint a School Counsellor to provide individual students with counselling/therapy using a range of appropriate approaches based on the needs of the individual students. Carrying out appropriate assessment. Working with an ethical framework, ensuring confidentiality at all time in line with safeguarding requirements and requirement for disclosure.

The successful applicant should have experience of working with children and young people; an appropriate qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy at a minimum of Level 4, and an additional recognised qualification in Child and Adolescent Counselling. Post-qualification experience preferred with at least 100 clinical hours of experience; BACP, UKCP or BPC Membership; further therapeutic training, experience or qualification in working with children and young people and Level 2 Safeguarding Training.
