House Inspirational Figure

Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai, now 28 years old, is a globally celebrated advocate for girls' education and the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

After surviving a Taliban assassination attempt at age 15 for speaking out against the ban on girls' education in Pakistan, she transformed her personal tragedy into a powerful global movement. In 2013, she co-founded the Malala Fund, which has invested millions in education initiatives across countries like Nigeria, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Brazil, aiming to ensure every girl can learn and lead.

Her activism has earned her numerous accolades, including honorary Canadian citizenship and the World’s Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child. Malala has also supported causes through organisations like Save the Children, Free the Children, and the United Nations Foundation.

Beyond education, she champions gender equality, refugee rights, and climate justice, and has produced documentaries that amplify unheard voices, such as Champions of the Golden Valley and Joyland. Through her books, speeches, and media work, Malala continues to inspire millions, proving that courage and compassion can change the world.
