The LRC is a large, bright, open-plan space located in the Mallards building. Facilities include a Careers and Reference area; Fiction and Non-Fiction zones; a Reading Corner; an IT cluster (18 PCs and 24 laptops); study tables; a printer; a photocopier; and resources.
At Woodbridge, we pride ourselves on being a ‘reading school’. The library hosts a range of enrichment activities, including the Reading Route competition and Accelerated Reading Practice Quizzes competition. We also hold events throughout the year and invite authors to give book talks and deliver workshops.
Are you part of our loyalty scheme? See Monsieur Coker for more information.
In the LRC, students may: study, research, select books, read, take part in book events, attend break-time reading clubs, and after-school reading for pleasure clubs, and volunteer to be part of the Library Committee. Speak to Monsieur Coker in the library for more information.
