House Charity

Clowns In The Sky
Clowns in the Sky is a charity that aims to bring smiles to the faces of sick children and provide support to their families during stressful times.

We currently have activity trolleys in oncology wards across many hospitals and shared care units. These trolleys are available at any time and offer a variety of craft activities. We bring the playroom to the child when they are too unwell to make the short journey or when the playroom is closed. We also fund children’s entertainment sessions.

In addition, we support research into childhood brain tumours, with the hope of one day finding a cure. The inspiration for Clowns in the Sky came from a very special little girl, Jennifer Chambers.

Renowned for his groundbreaking nature documentaries like Planet Earth, The Blue Planet, and Life on Earth, Attenborough has used his voice and storytelling to inspire global awareness of biodiversity, climate change, and conservation.

His charitable work includes supporting organisations such as WWF, Cool Earth, Population Matters, and the World Land Trust, where he has served as a patron since 2003.
