Walking For GOSH

A group of students are getting their walking shoes on to raise money for GOSH, by taking part in the London Ultra Challenge 25 Kilometre Walk.
Sixth form student, Aman said "We are an enthusiastic group of Year 12 students who want to raise £1375 for Great Ormond Street Hospital by completing a 25 kilometre walk on August the 23rd, 2025. The route begins in Woolwich, goes up the Thames, reaches around the bustling Canary Wharf, then loops the whole way back around."

She adds, "The walk won’t be easy, but neither are the experiences of children in NHS care every year dealing with life-threatening illnesses. As a vital part of the NHS, since 1852, Great Ormond Street Hospital has been providing children’s hospitals with life-saving medical equipment, toys and games to bring wards together, and parental support for extremely intense times. That’s why your donations are so important - every single pound makes a difference to a child in hospice.
GOSH is an especially meaningful charity for us to support, with members of our walking group having periods in paediatric hospitals and seeing first-hand the powerful, positive contributions that NHS paediatric departments, such as GOSH, can make to a child’s time in hospital."
GOSH believes that childhood shouldn’t be lost to illness, so please sponsor our walk and share with friends and family, which can be done at https://www.justgiving.com/page/sunday-walkers-1 -The Sunday Walkers
