Teacher Assessed Grades 2021

The government have announced that GCSE,  A Level and VTQ exams will not take place in summer 2021. Instead, teachers will assess students and assign grades based on a range of evidence. The documents below set out our school’s approach to these assessments.

The documents include our Centre Policy which sets out how we will implement the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) requirements and Assessment Records for each subject which set out the evidence that will be used for grading. Students will also be given these Assessment Records in lessons. It is important that all students are aware of the evidence that will be used.

If students or parents wish to inform us of something which might warrant special consideration (e.g. temporary illness that affected performance in an assessment), they should complete the form below. Please make sure you have read the letter dated 30th April below, before completing this form. The deadline for completing this form is Friday 7th May.
