36 hours per week/ Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:30pm)/ Term Time Only
Scale: LBR 8: £30,324 – £31,998 (Pro-rata £25,742 – £27,163)
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work within a diverse and forward-thinking Wellbeing Department at Woodbridge High School.
The role of the Child Protection Officer will involve the day-to-day management of safeguarding concerns within the school. This includes co-ordinating support for the most vulnerable students, working closely with families and professionals, and holding responsibility for maintaining statutory child protection records.
Woodbridge High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including references from previous employers, and a Criminal Bureau Records check at the enhanced level and compliance with Sections 15-25 of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (eligibility to work in the UK). Interviews will be conducted in person, and they will explore candidates’ suitability to work with children.
