Jam Tech 2009
Our 2009 programme is for boys and girls who are currently in year 10. The idea is that students will be given mentors to help them fund raise by doing a number of organised activities. Students will learn the value of saving and fund raising for themselves. Students will have over a year to raise their own funds for August 2009
Our program is a mini-gap (3 weeks) where pre-University students will come to Jamaica to do Environmental science, experience culture and the arts and undertake community service. For Uk students this will undoubtedly help them to access top Universities in the Uk because they can speak of a wider experience beyond their A’levels. It will also help to cement the link in a new generation that is in danger of losing its Caribbean heritage.
