School Website
£10,000 from private donor to relaunch and maintain the Woodbridge website
School Reception Area
£25,000 from Schools Access Initiative towards total cost to redesign and build our new reception area. This is now a much more welcoming environment for visitors.
Wynndale Hall Sound and Lighting Systems
£25,000 from Awards For All, Jack Petchey Foundation and Youth Opportunities Funding towards the cost of modernising and enhancing the previously condemned systems. The hall is now a first class venue for shows and performances.
Wynndale Hall Raised Seating
£10,000 from Youth Opportunities Funding to buy raised seating to provide better viewing at shows and concerts. There is capacity for 75 seats in addition to the 250 seats in the floor area.
Sports Hall Lighting and Access
£37,000 secured from Schools Access Initiative to improve lighting and access. The lighting will be upgraded and the walls repainted to enable better vision for fast-moving activities. A new double door entrance will be installed and the path leading to the building will be relaid, incorporating a ramp to replace the steps. This will allow wheelchair access to the Sports Hall.
Information Screens
£6000 from parental donations used to provide improved means of communication for pupils. The screens are located at key points of the school to provide information on a daily basis.
Audiovisual Equipment in Wynndale Hall
£4000 from parental donations used to purchase a digital projector, electric viewing screen, laptop and sound system. This enhances the pupils’ experience during assemblies, provides a venue for wet weather lunch breaks and is also used for evening functions.
