Year 9

All students in Year 9 study English, Mathematics, Science (separately as Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Design Technology, Physical Education, ICT & Computer Science, History, Geography, Religious Education, Art, Drama and Music.

They also study two subjects from: French, Spanish, German, Russian, Art and Design, Business, Design & Technology: Graphic Product or Product Design pathway, Health and Social Care, PE, Information Technologies, Music, Computer Science, Religious Studies.

PSHEE (Personal, Social, Health and Enterprise Education), as well as Careers Education and Citizenship, are delivered through Life Studies lessons at KS3.

During Year 9, students make choices for their Key Stage 4 (KS4) curriculum. A wide range of GCSE options is available including Art, Business, Child Development, Computer Science, Drama, ICT, Music, PE, Product Design, Psychology, RE and Sociology.
